Documents required from clients
1. One (1) soft copy of the
trademark;
2. A detailed list of
products or services to be covered and the
class(es) to be registered in the
application;
3. A copy of Certificate of
Incorporation or Business Registration
Certificate or anything of similar nature
which shows the name and address of the
applicant. A copy of passport and recent
residential address proof in case the
applicant is an individual;
4. A priority document when
priority is claimed. The document can be
filed within 6 months after the filing date
of the application;
5. An original copy of the
signed Power of Attorney. The Power of
Attorney will be prepared by us for clients’
signing.
Timescale
Currently it is taking
approximately 12-18 months to get a
trademark registered in Germany for smooth
applications.
Validity of the Trademark
The trademark is valid for ten (10) years
from the registration date, then renewable..
